The Short Story

If you're reading this then there's a really good chance that you've met Mia and or Casper and that they've let you get close enough to read their tag and that's brought you here. The short story is this:

Not too long ago we were all one happy little stable family and then along came a massive and unforeseen upheaval. Suddenly we were all homeless and I was presented with a work opportunity overseas and our hearts sank when it became obvious that Mia and Casper would need a new home. I couldn't bring myself to send them to the Cat Haven, the likelihood that they would find happy home together just seemed too remote to me and I could see them either being split up or caged up for a long time and both of these things just broke my heart. As I knew it would theirs - because they're totally in love - like soul mate kind of love.

Being the little free spirits that they are, I had a brain fart one day that perhaps they could find that home for themselves.

It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make but it seemed at the time the best chance of them finding a situation in which they were both happy but above all - together.

So on the day I had to leave I loaded them up with a big pile of dry food and water , left the van that has been their home for the last couple of months unlocked and open parked at a friend's place probably not too far from you and worked on the premise that when they got hungry enough they would search further afield and gravitate towards an energy that felt homely to them.  This way they could at least play a role in choosing their own destinies which in my mind increased their chances of being happy and in the overall scheme of things that's the most important thing to me.

And so here they are, and here you are, and here I am hoping that the right thing will come about somehow and there will be a happy ending to this fairy-tale.

Short Term / Long Term - Anything Considered

I would love to think that I'll see them again but I know I have to let go at this stage and let destiny take its course.

A Bit of Background

their mum - was the most incredible mother you could ever imagine

The way she loved and cared for her babies was unlike anything I've ever seen in an animal.

There were 4 in the litter...

It was a special time for all of us...

Literally thousands of photos taken - here's a few

She was also incredibly beautiful and ridiculously smart.

How she came to be in my life in the first place was nothing short of a miracle.

Do you know someone perhaps?

We would dearly love to hear from you if so

Sincerely, Jude & Jess
